An exceptional occasion to discover the reserve’s unique biodiversity
For intrepid people, the Domain de Chambord organizes 4×4 safaris through the enclosed park, up to all the family.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Accompanied by an expert guide, get immersed in the heart of this extraordinary forest to learn on the management of animal populations and fauna, while driving among vast nature, lakes and meadows.
The excursion includes a stopover in a large memorial room, to discover the evolution of the antlers of the same deer over seven years, among over curiosities.
WILD FAUNA
Don’t forget your binoculars! Chambord Park is home to a high density of large animals such as deers, roe deers and wild boars, making it easier to observe them in daylight. Furthermore, the forest is a wealth of regional forest animals that have made their homes here.
Particularly, the bird population is very rich, with 150 species including bats, newts and dragonflies. Such outstanding diversity that, along with the wondrous landscape, will amaze you from the moment you start the tour.
