Welcome to Grand Saint Michel


Each first Sunday of the month, the Grand Saint-Michel restaurant offers you
the opportunity to enjoy a brunch from 12.30 to 15.00. Our buffet includes seafood and shellfish, local products, salads and salty verrines, a la carte hot dish, fine cheeses, viennoiseries and pies, hot drinks, fresh fruit juice.

Alexandre Trazeres, our chef, welcomes you and shares with you his passion for a precise cuisine, terroir, and a great freshness.

You are invited to discover a menu, that evolves according to the year and its seasons, in the refined world of one of our two dining rooms, featuring warm tones, mahogany, brass, as well as elegant houndstooth-covered chairs and armchairs from Patricia Urquiola. Under the constellation of a large chandelier by Marcel Wanders, let your taste buds be convinced by dishes drawing their value from their simplicity and unassuming manner and especially from the extremely high standards of quality of the products coming from local breeders and farmers.

Outside, within earshot of the moat of the castle, very large limestone tiles make up a large terrace. Comfortably seated in chairs made by Jorge Pensi, you can enjoy breakfast, a drink, or lunch in front of the Renaissance monument, charmed by the hypnotic light that is typical of the Loire Valley. You can dine there until the evening ends among the fragrances of the various flowers and trees unfolding here thanks to the talent of the landscape designer Christian Fournet.
